User guide¶

This guide walks through Mitup the way you meet it: from your first chat with the bot to sharing a meeting your friends can join with a tap. Every part of the bot has a page here, so if a button leaves you wondering what it does, this is where to look.

You don't have to read it front to back. Start with Getting started if you've never opened the bot, or jump straight to the page for whatever you're trying to do. The bot's ❓ Help button lands you right here.

What's on each page¶

• Getting started: open the bot, set your timezone, and reach the main menu.
• The main menu: the hub every action starts from.
• Create a meeting: a title, then the card where the photos, the date, the place and the guest limit are set.
• Meeting settings: the meeting's language, the switches under Behavior, and how its dates are written.
• Sharing and joining: post a meeting into a chat and follow it through RSVPs.
• Using Mitup from any chat: pull up your meetings inline, without adding the bot to the group.
