User guide¶
This guide walks through Mitup the way you actually meet it: from your first chat with the bot to sharing a meeting your friends can join with a tap. Every screen the bot shows you has a page here, so if a button leaves you wondering what it does, this is where to look.
You don't have to read it front to back. Start with Getting started if you've never opened the bot, or jump straight to the page for whatever you're trying to do. The bot's ❓ Help button lands you right here.
What's on each page¶
- Getting started: open the bot, set your timezone, and reach the main menu.
- The main menu: the hub every action starts from.
- Create a meeting: a title, a date, a place, and who can join.
- Meeting settings: the per-meeting toggles for waiting lists, sharing, invitations, and more.
- Sharing and joining: post a meeting into a chat and follow it through RSVPs.
- Using Mitup from any chat: pull up your meetings inline, without adding the bot to the group.
- Meeting lifecycle: when a meeting turns inactive and when it's deleted.
- Your settings: your language, timezone, reminders, and defaults.
- Limits and Host perks: what's free, and what backing Mitup on Patreon raises.
