Meeting settings¶
Open a meeting and tap ⚙️ Settings under the card. Three things live there: the language the meeting speaks, how it behaves, and how its dates and times are written. The title, the schedule, the place, the photos and the guest list are edited on the card itself.

Language¶
A meeting's language is its own, independent of yours: you can run the bot in English and share a meeting that greets your friends in Spanish. The menus you navigate stay in your language.
Behavior¶
Waiting list Disabled
When the meeting is full, new joiners land on a waiting list and move into the meeting automatically as spots free up, in the order they joined.
Public Enabled
Anyone who receives the meeting can share it again. Perfect to reach more people.
Open invitations Enabled
Participants can bring friends along, even friends who are not on Telegram.
Incognito Disabled
The shared meeting shows only how many people joined, not who. As the host, you still see everyone.
Lock on start Disabled
The moment the meeting starts, the attendee list is locked: nobody can join or leave while it is in progress. Takes effect once the meeting has a start time.
Waiting list¶
People who join a full meeting queue up and move in as spots free up, in the order they joined. With it off, a join on a full meeting is turned away.
Public¶
Lets anyone who receives the card share it on. With it off, the card stays in the chats you post it in yourself.
Open invitations¶
Puts 😄 Invite on the card, so participants can sign up friends, even friends who are not on Telegram.
Incognito¶
Keeps the names off the shared card; only the count shows. You still see everyone on your own card.
Lock on start¶
Freezes the guest list once the meeting starts, so nobody joins or leaves while it runs. With an end time the freeze lifts at the end; without one it holds until you turn the lock off or the meeting goes inactive. It needs a start time.
Time format¶
Three controls: whether the timezone is written next to the times, a 24-hour or a 12-hour clock, and the date format, with a preview of each choice.
Times are written in your timezone, the one from your settings, and what you pick here is what everyone who sees the card reads. On Telegram clients that support it, a date or a time on the card is tappable and shows the moment on the reader's own clock.
Default options¶
Your own settings hold the defaults every new meeting starts with: the same five switches and the same time format.
